Welcome to the home page of KOZO OKUMURA, TV director and editor based in New York City since 1998. While documentary is my main passion, I have worked on a large variety of projects including 30 seconds commercials, music videos and industrial videos. I am also a dancer/choreographer, which has helped my editing in terms of rhythm, pacing, and storytelling.
 
Past clients include: ABC, PBS, A&E, Discovery Channel, VH1, NHK(Japanese Public Television), Sundance Channel, Pepsi-Cola, Amnesty International, Reebok, The United Nationals and Marie Claire.
 
 Recent projects include; "Four Seasons of Central Park", a two Hour documentary for NHK (Japanese Public Television) and "CarBots", a documentary series about autonomous car racing for The Discovery Channel.
